Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 30 March 2025.

The Qinling Mountains Festival is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to provide an inclusive online experience.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved through assistive technologies (such as screen readers), accessible design, and thoughtful coding practices that allow equal access to information and services.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and have made the site accessible to a broad range of users. Our content is optimized for use with assistive technologies, including screen readers, keyboard navigation, and reduced-motion settings.

  • To ensure a high level of accessibility, we have taken the following steps:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to identify and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language attribute for all pages

  • Defined consistent content order across the site

  • Applied clear heading structures for page navigation

  • Added alternative text to all meaningful images

  • Implemented color contrasts that meet accessibility standards

  • Reduced the use of animations and motion effects

  • Ensured videos, audio, and downloadable files are accessible

  • Tested compatibility with commonly used assistive software

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

Some third-party content integrated into our site may not fully comply with our accessibility standards. This includes:

  • Embedded videos hosted on external platforms

  • Third-party social media feeds
